The Ford Foundation is a founding donor of the Center. Three major programs support our mission: the Program on Democratic Governance, the Innovations in Government Program; and the Rajawali Foundation Institute for Asia.

The Brookings Institution is a nonprofit public policy organization based in Washington, DC. Economic Policy Institute
The Economic Policy Institute, a nonprofit Washington D.C. think tank, was created in 1986 to broaden the discussion about economic policy to include the interests of low- and middle-income workers. Today, with global competition expanding, wage inequality rising, and the methods and nature of work changing in fundamental ways, it is as crucial as ever that people who work for a living have a voice in the economic discourse.

Institute for Research on Public Policy
Founded in 1972, the Institute for Research on Public Policy is an independent, national, bilingual, nonprofit organization. The IRPP seeks to improve public policy in Canada by generating research, providing insight and sparking debate on current and emerging policy issues facing Canadians and their governments. The Institute's independence is assured by an endowment fund, to which federal and provincial governments and the private sector contributed in the early 1970s.

Institute for New Economic Thinking
The Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET) was created to broaden and accelerate the development of new economic thinking that can lead to solutions for the great challenges of the 21st century. INET is supporting this fundamental shift in economic thinking through research funding, community building, and spreading the word about the need for change. We already are a global community of thousands of new economic thinkers, ranging from Nobel Prize winning economists to teachers and students who have emerged out from the shadows of prevailing economic thought, attracted by the promise of a free and open economic discourse.

The International Economy
Founded over twenty years ago, The International Economy is a specialized quarterly magazine covering global financial policy, economic trends, and international trade. Labeled by the Washington Post “that precocious Washington [quarterly],” the publication is edited for and read by central bankers, politicians, and members of the financial community including professional investment managers, macroeconomic specialists, and high net-worth global investors.

Ivey Centre for Health Innovation and Leadership
The Ivey Centre for Health Innovation and Leadership is preparing health leaders with the skills they need to identify, assess and facilitate the adoption of innovative technologies, systems and processes that our health systems need in order to be sustainable. The Centre is addressing health care’s “innovation adoption deficit” and the persistent lack of highly-trained and skilled leaders and change-agents able to commercialize innovation or effectively implement new systems and management processes in both the private sector and in our publicly funded health care institutions.

Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)
The OECD is a unique forum where the governments of 30 democracies work together to address the economic, social, and environmental challenges of globalization. The OECD is also at the forefront of efforts to understand and to help governments respond to new developments and concerns, such as corporate governance, the information economy, and the challenges of an ageing population. The Organisation provides a setting where governments can compare policy experiences, seek answers to common problems, identify good practice, and work to co-ordinate domestic and international policies.
